‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Star Todd Chrisley Is Selling His $2.4 Million Atlanta Panty-Dropping Palace
Todd Chrisley is the patriarch of the new USA Network reality show Chrisley Knows Best, which premiered this week, and it's all about the eccentric real estate giant and his brood of five’s lavish southern lifestyle -- that includes dropping $300,000 on designer clothes.
Only now, the biggest character on the show other than Chrisley -- his whopping 30,000 square foot mega-mansion -- is on the shopping block for $2.5 million, CB! has learned.
So let’s take you inside his ridiculous digs.
The one thing we know for sure is that just like Chrisley, this place is insanely over-the top, boasting 9 bedrooms and 12 baths and with so many nooks and crannies, we don’t know where to start.
So let's try -- on the lower floor alone there’s a two-story marble foyer that leads to the formal dining room, piano room with fireplace, sitting room, and gallery hallways lined with hardwoods, granite, crown moldings, and soaring ceilings. All that leads downstairs to the gourmet kitchen, family room and yet another more casual living room that’s so big it needs its own floor.
Each bedroom comes approved with the Chrisleys ostentatious taste and wouldn’t be complete without country-style shabby chic like gaudy pinks and blues and plenty of canopy beds, sitting rooms and fireplaces (we counted 9), including adjacent to the master tub in one of the biggest spa bathrooms we’ve ever seen.
But let’s get to the one room where Chrisley really likes to splash the cash -- his suite-size walk-in closet lined with designer duds and complete with a marble countertop dresser. The man with a passion for fashion has confessed he organizes his clothes by season and has to approve what his kids wear before they leave the house.

And if that’s not enough, the 2-acre estate has an in-home fitness center, theatre, steam room, outdoor kitchen, grotto, wine cellar, saltwater pool, and an elevator because walking from wing to wing is downright exhausting. And when you've got this much dough, well, why not.
The manse just hit the market, but, according to property records, the 45-year-old reality star has been trying to unload it since 2008 when he was asking $7 million. Today, with a massive $4.5 million discount, we're not sure why he's moving out. Maybe the whole filing for bankruptcy last year and owing more than $900,000 in back taxes has a little something to do with it.
The truth is the Chrisley clan wouldn't be the first reality family to face serious financial woes, but with a big move and undoubtedly more drama, at least he's more than likely guaranteed himself a second season.
