Demi Lovato isn't too thrilled with Lady Gaga's latest performance, specifically the one where the latter had someone voluntarily vomit on her during a SXSW stage show.

Taking to Twitter Friday, the former X Factor judge slammed Gaga for graphic stint, bashing the act as "glamorizing eating disorders." Lovato wrote:

When Gaga's fans started hitting back at the "Neon Lights" singer, reasoning that the Mother Monster is an "artist" who gave a speech about her own battles with anorexia at the event, Lovato defended her criticism and explained why she felt uncomfortable with the performance.

"So it's cool if I do a speech about self-harm and then proceed to watch someone cut themselves on my stage? No. That doesn't make it OKAY," she wrote. "Putting the word ART in it isn't a free card to do whatever you want without consequences."

She added, "Activists don't shut up. If no one raises their voice, how are we supposed to be heard?"

In the past, both songstresses admitted to struggling with eating disorders. Lovato entered rehab in 2010 for anorexia and bulimia -- as well as problems with self-harm -- while Gaga had recently just confessed overcoming her body issues.

During her SXSW visit, Gaga also slammed another pop star -- cough, Katy Perry, cough -- for focusing too much on "tits and ass."

"That's the thing that poisoned me ... [People saying] 'We want you to be beautiful' over and over and over in my head until I just wanted to look ugly all the time because I'm rebellious," she told the crowd. "I've won Grammys now.  I've written albums.  I've toured the world four times ... You're telling me to be beautiful?"

She added, "That's what this is all about? Is it all about tits and ass? That's so sad."
