Madonna Celebrates Jewish Holiday As the Mother of Dragons
Leave it to Madonna
to celebrate a religious holiday with a dash of popular culture.
In honor of Purim, a Jewish Holiday celebrated on March 15th and 16th, the Queen of Pop broke out her best Game of Thrones inspired duds and took to Instagram without a second thought.
If you aren't familiar with Judaism, Purim commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from the ancient Persian Empire where a plot had been formed to destroy them.
Sounds like a 300 sequel in the making.
And if you aren't familiar with Thrones, Madonna picked the best character to be - Daenerys Targaryen aka the Mother of Dragons, who is played by Emilia Clarke on the HBO series.
