Katy Perry Is a Generous Boss, Buys Cars for Her Five Assistants
Apparently, newly single Katy Perry is feeling generous. The Daily Star reports the "Roar" singer spent more than $500,000 on electric cars for her fleet of assistants, in an attempt to become "greener" and to earn the Boss of the Year Award.
Perry, 29, who employs five people to manage her schedule, run errands and whatnot supposedly purchased a Fisker Karma for each of her assistants. The electric car is a luxury 4-door sedan that promises to reduce your carbon imprint, which is why Perry chose it. One of Katy's friends told the Daily Star, "They are completely electric and top of the range in car luxury but she hates the smog in the air in LA. In total she spent over half a million dollars on the cars and now her conscience is clean."
Ironically, the pop star's latest album Prism was declared a biohazard in Australia. It contains a package of seeds, which may have posed a threat to the country's wildlife.
