Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin Will Reunite for the Netflix Series ‘Grace and Frankie’

Hark! Your (or maybe just my) prayers have been answered. Netflix announced Wednesday that Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin will reunite for the comedy series Grace and Frankie.

The half-hour, single-camera comedy is written and created by Marta Kauffman (Friends) and Howard J. Morris (Sullivan & Son). Fonda and Tomlin will play lifelong rivals whose husbands announce that they are in love with each other and plan to get married. “The women find their lives both turned upside down and to their dismay, permanently intertwined. Eventually, to their surprise, they find they have each other,” says the show’s official synopsis.

So we’ve got a little bit of First Wives Club, a little bit of Far from Heaven and, god willing, there’s a Dolly Parton cameo planned to complete the 9 to 5 trifecta.

The 13-episode first season premieres on Netflix next year. This is your new favorite show.
