Lamar Odom Vows to “Make It Work” With Khloe Kardashian
In an attempt to win back his estranged wife, the basketballer has gone so far as to give what InTouch boasts as a “tearful confession” to the tabloid, pleading for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star to return to him.
“I want to make it work with Khloe,” Odom, 34, tells the publication in its latest issue. “I’m going to see Khloe. I’m going to see her soon.”
The former NBA player, who recently suffered a back injury during his stint with Spain’s Baskonia team, also vows to get his life on track after facing months of drug use and infidelity allegations.
“I’m focusing on getting better,” he adds.
“They talk on the phone, they text, they help each other. She’s trying to help him,” the source said. “He calls her and she listen.”
The source added, “They’re talking as friends. She’s always there to help everyone. She’s very strong and like a caretaker to everyone.”
