Yep, Emma Stone is definitely a child of the 90s.

Like how many of us would react seeing out childhood idol, the actress got a little emotional when she was presented with a pre-recorded video message from Spice Girls' Mel B during a The Amazing Spider-Man 2 press junket interview, breaking down in tears as she watched the British singer address her by name.

"Oh my god, is Mel B talking to me?" the starlet gushed as her voice cracked in a super fangirl moment. "Oh my god, I'm so excited. I'm legitimately crying. I'm the biggest Spice Girls fan ever."

Australia 2Day FM's Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk had recorded Mel B, who often co-hosts their radio program, giving Stone a shout-out after she couldn't make it to the sit-down.

"First of all, I want to say I absolutely adore you," Scary Spice said in the clip shown to Stone. "I love you. And I want to say thank you for being such a Spice Girl fan. But my question to you is, why did you like Baby Spice and not me more? Your punishment for that is [that] I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs."

Watch how Stone fared in performing Mel B's "Wannabe" rap in the video, above.
