Blake Lively Reveals Why She Took a Year-Long Break Out of the Spotlight
And everyone needs to take a cue out of the Blake Lively handbook and enjoy a year-long hiatus if it means coming back and looking this good.
But, who are we kidding, the head-turning beauty who (enviably) styles herself has always been a tour de fashion force.

Lively wanted her private life back.
“Having a personal life has been really nice,” she told ELLE in the April 2014 issue on newsstands March 25.
“I’d been on Gossip Girl 10 months a year for six years, shooting 15-hour days, so I hadn’t had time to just be since I graduated from high school," she added. "It’s been nice to kind of settle into my own skin and work on things I really love.”
Karl Lagerfeld has called her “America’s dream girl” and she even has a pair of Christian Louboutins named after her. But even as the Chanel handbags and designer heels come pouring in to line her covetable closet, there’s actually still some things she won’t wear at the ripe old age of 26.
“The older I get, I guess I wear less sparkles," the new face of Gucci fragrance revealed. "And I know that someday my knees are going to look like elephant knees. But for now, my hemlines are still pretty high.”
Um, we doubt your famous gams will ever do you wrong, but for now she's covering them up by going retro on the Vancouver set of her new movie, Adaline, this week.
