Seattle Police Release 35 New Photos from the Scene of Kurt Cobain’s Suicide
It’s been nearly 20 years since Kurt Cobain’s suicide in April 1994. And as the anniversary nears, interest in Cobain’s death is at a fever pitch. Last week, Seattle police had to clarify that they had not reopened the investigation into Cobain’s death.
Now, they’ve released new pictures—35 to be exact—that were taken during the investigation immediately following Coabin’s death, but were undeveloped until now. The pictures show the scene of Cobain’s suicide, including his suicide note pinned to a planter in his Lake Washington home.
