Robert Downey Jr. may be the king of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he still finds the time to support his brothers in arms. Oh, and he’s also got a soft spot for the kids who make their parents watch Iron Man over and over again.
The 49-year-old actor shared a photo on Friday showing what I’m assuming is his converted basement / personal workout space filled with people ready to watch Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
He told Variety about the get together last week, saying, “I’m having 50 kids over and I’m screening “Captain America 2” on my birthday, which happens to be the day it opens. I haven’t seen it. That’s one of the perks of being on the inside track at Marvel. I hope it’s not watermarked too heavily.”
I hope Robert doesn’t have too much of an attachment to his crown. Chris Evans‘ return to the big screen brought in $37 million in North America on Friday.
