Go Behind-the-Scenes With James Maslow and His Prom Date on Their Whirlwind Weekend of Dancing and Disneyland
The Big Time Rush singer couldn’t fly to Ohio for her big night, but he decided to give her another moment to last a lifetime as his date on Dancing With The Stars where Hannah got her own private prom…
And a kiss she’ll never forget.
Maslow flew Hannah, her mother Hollie and little sister Lily to Los Angeles for a whirlwind weekend of dancing and Disneyland.
Hannah got the true A-list treatment from her very own trailer on set to her own glam squad. And no prom would be complete without a corsage, custom dance (choreographed by Peta Murgatroyd), sparkling tiara, and the night sealed with a kiss.
“After the performance they got to go back to James’ trailer where she got her special kiss and sang “Let It Go” to Peta,” Hannah’s mom Hollie told Celebuzz.
“It was so important for her to do that. She thought it was the greatest. She saw the photo later and started crying happy tears.
“She actually didn’t say anything,” continued Hollie of Hannah, who still has prom (and hopefully will be crowned prom queen!) to look forward to when she heads back to Ohio Tuesday. “All weekend she was so quiet. She was quietly content from the hair on her head to the toes on her feet. In her sleep I saw her grinning.”
In addition to all the memories, Hannah also got to take home a bag of goodies from ABC, including a personalized framed photo from their weekend and her custom-fit red carpet gown provided by E!
“We can’t find words big enough to express what James means to us," gushed Hollie, holding back tears. "He is so sincere and so genuine. He didn’t do it for the votes. He listened to her, he engaged with her and was face-to-face with her. And he was extra careful to make sure Lily was included.
“I don’t know how he stands up with that heart of gold in his chest.
“We came back to the hotel and cried for the rest of the night. It was a dream come true.”
