Mark Ruffalo Starts a War in the Final Trailer for 'The Normal Heart'

We're just about a month away from the premiere of HBO's screen adaptation of The Normal Heart and here is the final trailer for the Ryan Murphy-directed version of the Tony Award-winning play.

Thus far, the trailers have focused on the advocacy side of the story, showing Mark Ruffalo screaming at various faceless adversaries, but this one focuses more on the human relationships central to the story set during the AIDS epidemic of the 1990s. The cast also includes Julia Roberts as Dr. Emma Brookner, a physician struggling to find the cause for AIDS, or GRID, as it was called then. Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, Jim Parsons and Jonathan Groff play gay men in Ned Weeks' (Ruffalo) circle.

Of course, The Normal Heart is about both. Though it's not at all surprising that this last trailer is focusing on the more human element of the story to get viewers interested.
