Lorde's Purple Lip Color for MAC Cosmetics Will Be Available Soon
Love Lorde's look?
Soon, you'll be able to replicate the New Zealand singer's signature purple lips and winged eyeliner when her two-piece collection for beauty brand MAC Cosmetics launches in June.
Lorde, 17, whose angsty track "Tennis Court" just got a rework by Aussie beat master Flume, told WWD, "I was really excited to work with MAC on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too." The mini line features a Lipstick in Pure Heroine ($16), a deep plum and Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack ($19.50).
"I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid," the singer/songwriter said. "I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me."
The "Royals" singer unfortunately just had to postpone the Australian leg of her tour due to a "nasty chest infection," but promised fans she's reschedule.
What do you think? Will you buy MAC's Lorde lipstick and eyeliner?
