Don Draper? More like Dong Draper! (Okay, that was terrible and I apologize.)

Covering Vanity Fair's June issue, lover of going commando Jon Hamm recalls his journey to stardom, particularly the work he did in "soft-core-porn movies."

Speaking about a recently resurfaced episode of The Big Date from 1996, Hamm reveals that he was at quite the low point in his life when he appeared on the dating show.

"I was actually at that time working as a set dresser for Cinemax soft-core-porn movies," he says. "It was soul-crushing."

But now, Hamm actually has something to look forward to at work. Opening up about his role on AMC's Mad Men, the actor couldn't help but to gush about the life-changing role.

"This is the best job I've ever had and maybe ever will have in my life — it's so fun to play all of this," he says. "It can be relentlessly dark. It can be terribly sexually inappropriate, is a way to say it. But who else gets a chance to do any of that stuff? There's so much there."
