ICYMI: Adam Levine Raps, Shakira Shakes her Booty and a Preggers Christina Aguilera Shows Up Late at Wango Tango 2014
Saturday was my very first experience at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango concert, and I had the time of my life! But that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I was literally seated directly below the stage within arms distance from each of the performers.
Yeah… #HumbleBrag. But I can’t help it! The show was freakin’ awesome!
Let me break it down for you by my favorite performances:
Though Iggy Azalea comes in a close second, Adam Levine and Maroon 5‘s performance was wild! The Sexiest Man Alive looked just sexy as ever and really brought the energy to the show, electrifying the whole crowd to sing along throughout every song. And not only did he debut his new platinum locks, but he also showed off his rapping skills, which weren’t too shabby! Luckily for you, I was able to capture the moment on my phone. Check it out:
A very preggers Christina performed “Say Something” with A Great Big World… But not before some complications. The mommy-to-be showed up about 15 minutes late to perform, saying she was having a difficult time parking her car and getting to the stage with her growing belly and platform heels. Nevertheless, the performance was absolutely beautiful.
I was most looking forward to Iggy Azalea’s appearance during Ariana Grande’s “Problems,” and she definitely didn’t let me down, staying to perform “Fancy,” too! Big Sean also made a surprise debut with AG in one of his first major post-split performances. Of course, Ariana was flawless, showing off her incredible vocal skills (no lip syncing for this girl!) and looking adorable, clad in 70s attire, while doing it.
Shakira made sure everyone in the audience knew her hips STILL don’t lie, showing off some sexy booty-popping moves throughout her entire performance. In fact, at one point she was right above me shaking that thang… So of course I couldn’t help my pull my phone out to capture the moment for all of you! Watch below:
Other notable performances included: B.O.B., Kid Ink, Calvin Harris, One Republic, Tiesto, Paramore, Zedd and Ed Sheeran.
