Rachel Bilson ‘Did All The Drugs and Alcohol’ Before She was Famous

Rachel Bilson has managed to stay out of the tabloids for the last decade.

That, according to the How I Met Your Mother actress, is because she got all her partying out of her system before she starred on the CW’s hit show The O.C.

Bilson, whose show Hart of Dixie just got picked up for a fourth season, opened up to Health magazine for its June issue, and some of the petite brunette’s revelations might be a little surprising.

The 32-year-old Jumper actress admitted that growing up in Los Angeles meant Bilson’s wild side emerged pre-fame.

“I grew up in L.A. and did all that when I was younger. I went to the clubs and did all the drugs and alcohol. I got it out of my system, so by the time I was on The O.C., I was like, ‘Wow, I can just enjoy this.’ Then I started dating a costar [Adam Brody], so it was more of a domesticated thing; you’re just home or with friends — and not out to party.”

Now, the California native is ready to settle down and start a family. “I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house.”

Bilson, who also copped to an occasional Flamin’ Hot Cheetos binge, has been in and out of a relationship with her Jumper co-star Hayden Christensen for the past seven years.

So, is he The One?

While there is no ring on her finger, the fashionista says “This is my partner, my support, just there for me no matter what. And vice versa.”

Hart of Dixie’s third season finale airs Friday on The CW, and Health magazine’s June edition hits newsstands on Friday as well.
