“I’m loving right now just flouncy dresses,” Lachey told us in New York City.
The 33-year-old TV personality was in the Big Apple on Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of Crocs’ flagship store on 34th Street.
“Nothing too form fitted,” she added. “Right now in L.A., I believe it’s like 100 degrees and already here [in New York] it’s muggy, so I think loose fitting . . . but it’s hot so you want it to be a little short. Stuff you can layer is always good.”
Lachey, who arrived to the opening in a cute Elizabeth and James dress, cap toe flats by Crocs and a sweet necklace bearing the name of her first born, also dished on the first pair of Crocs she ever bought.
“I remember he started walking and we had our first vacation planned to Cabo as a family. And I needed a fun, easy pair for him to wear there. I realized it’s not just a vacation shoe, it’s easy for me to slip on . . . it was the very first pair I bought and I was like, these are amazing.”
“I can throw these in the bag, they can get wet, they can go on concrete, they can go in sand. They’re the best all-around shoe. He’s obsessed with them.”
Lachey also took to her Instagram to share a photo from the store opening, along with the caption, “I’m lovin these cute #RETRO crocs for Camden! Remember having sneakers with these bottoms growing up?! #FindYourFun”
