Shailene Woodley is Homeless, Just Got Her First Cell Phone

We already know Shailene Woodley is quite the little hippie--eating clay, stinking up the red carpet with her essential oils and sunning her vajayjay.  And now she's opening up about why she's given away her home and gotten rid of all of her possessions.

But don't worry... The Divergent actress isn't in some sort of financial trouble.  No, rather, she became homeless by choice.

Woodley made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night to explain why she's decided to couch surf at friends' places and only keep the belongings she can fit in one suitcase (yes, ladies. ONE suitcase).

"I was only home for 15 days last year and I got home and I was like, 'I don't want to be alone.  I want to be with my friends and family,'" she said.  "So, I got rid of everything so I could have one suitcase that would be easy to transport between houses and just kind of couch surf for a few months."

Not only that, but the 22-year-old actress just got her first cell phone...And not by choice.

"I do have a phone right now because we've been doing so much press and they were like, 'Shai, we need to be able to get ahole of you, so here's a temporary phone and we've taped the number to the back of it so you won't forget it,'" she laughed.  "It's kind of hilarious."

Welcome to the 21st century, Shailene!
