Robert Pattinson Looking Insanely Handsome on Cannes Red Carpet

Actor Robert Pattinson, sporting a festive green blazer, is back on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on behalf of not one, but two films, reports eonline.com.

The first is The Rover, a dystopian crime drama shot in Australia costarring Guy Pearce and directed by David Michod, while the second film is Maps to the Stars, directed by David Cronenberg.

The Rover is about a loner who tracks the gang who stole his car from a desolate town in the Australian outback with the forced assistance of a wounded guy left behind in the wake of the theft.

Pattinson is receiving rave reviews for her performance in the film. Here is what the Hollywood Reporter had to say about Robert's performance in The Rover:

Pattinson delivers a performance that, despite the character's own limitations, becomes more interesting as the film moves along, suggesting that the young actor might indeed be capable of offbeat character work.
However, it isn't all acting for Robert Pattinson these days, the 28-year-old is set to be launching a music career.

His friend Brady Corbet tells Britain's The Sun that Pattinson always wanted to be a musician and is now working on his debut.

He says, "He's been busy producing his first album, which will be coming soon."

Pattinson has previously sung on two tracks for the Twilight soundtrack album, which was released in 2008, and has long been rumored to be be considering making a record.
