Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Will Reunite on the Silver Screen

One of our favorite power couples is about to make our hearts weak with relationship-envy as they make their way back to the silver screen soon…

Yup, you guessed it! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will star in their first film together since 2005’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith– the movie during which they first began dating.

Jolie confirmed on Extra Tuesday that she and her fiance will costar in a very special film, as she penned the script herself.

“I really can’t say very much,” she explained.  “It’s not a big movie; it’s not an action movie.  It’s the kind of movie that we both love, but aren’t often cast in.  It’s a very experimental, independent type film where we get to just be actors together and be really raw and open and try things.”

The couple is going on 10 years being together, and Angelina explains why their relationship has lasted.

“He’s my family. He’s not just a lover and a partner, which is wonderful, but he’s my family now… We have history and work hard to make it great.  We don’t kind of relax about it and take each other for granted, so like everybody, we have our challenges, but we’re fighting to make it great.”

Jolie most recently remarked on how grateful she is to have Brad by her side and to be in a position where she doesn’t have to work every day to support her family. (Take that, Gwyneth Paltrow!)  But she won’t be retiring from acting anytime soon.

“I’m getting down there, and I think at some point it will be [time to quit],” she explained.  “I love directing, and [the upcoming film] ‘Unbroken’ was one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had working with a film.”
