Cannes Film Fest 2014 Best and Worst Dressed: Day 7

We’ve already surpassed a full week of Cannes Film Festival fun and fashion!

Today brought a solid number of amazing gowns, from Marion Cotillard’s Christian Dior to Clotild Courau in Valentino… But no one stood out to me more than Rosie Huntington-Whitely in Gucci, embodying everything glamorous about Cannes.

On the other hand, it appears Sharon Stone missed that whole “glam” memo, wearing a short (SHORT!) dress that should have stayed where it belongs–on a hanger, in someone’s closet from the 90s.

I’ll give Sharon Stone a pass this time for all the other amazing gowns she’s worn on the red carpet, but you’d think with all that experience, she’d know better than to wear this!  Everything about this Emilio Pucci look is wrong for me.  First and foremost, this isn’t a dress anyone should ever choose for an event as glamorous as Cannes.  Second, the gold accents are so gaudy!  And finally, WTF is that lace up thing in the front?  Dislike x a million.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks like the goddess she is in this soft jade silk Gucci gown.  While it’s definitely a safe choice for the model, the beading and accent belt add a chic touch to the whole look before sending the skirt cascading down the red carpet.  I love how you can see every curve of her toned little body!
