Jamie Lynn Spears’ Parenting Skills Criticized

Who can resist Iggy Azalea‘s catchy hit “Fancy”? Not Jamie Lynn Spears‘ five-year-old daughter Maddie that’s for sure.

Britney’s niece was filmed showing off her moves to the Aussie rapper’s song, and now some people are being all judgey saying the tiny dancer shouldn’t be listening to the tune, much less jumpin’ around to it.

Jamie Lynn, 23, whose own EP The Journey was just released on iTunes, posted this video last week with the caption: “Pretty sure @thenewclassic has her newest and youngest fan!!! #iggy #fancy #proudmom”

The lyrics are a bit R-rated, since Iggy (real name: Amethyst Kelly), is a rapper after all. She’s gotta keep it real.

Radar Online consulted clinical psychologist and Columbia University professor Dr. Judy Kuriansky, who thinks Jamie Lynn exercised poor judgement. “This video is totally inappropriate, Maddie is way too young to be exposed to that type of music.”

What do you think? Should Maddie have “Let it Go” on repeat and forgo her “Fancy” footwork?
