Sex sells. Luckily for Kate Middleton, her bare butt is now benefitting those in need.

The woman who took the Duchess of Cambridge's infamous upskirt photo has decided to donate the profits she has earned to something close to the royal's heart.

"It wasn't until I got home and I popped my camera card into the computer that I realized what I had captured," Diane Morel, the 47-year-old photographer behind the controversial snapshot, told Sydney's the Daily Telegraph. "Kate and [Prince] William spent so much time speaking to the victims of the bushfires that I decided I would donate any money raised from the sale of the photo to the Blue Mountains Bushfire Mayoral Relief Fund."

Kate's bootylicious picture was first published in German tabloid newspaper Bild magazine. In the spread, the publication compared to Khloe and Kim Kardashian's famous backside, boasting, "Khloe, Kim and Kate -- backsides that have moved us these past few days!"

The mag also took to Twitter and shared the picture with a caption reading, "Insight into the royal family.  #Kate's risque appearance, thanks to the wind!"

Of course, this wasn't the Kate's first time embroiled in a photo scandal.  Two years ago, the 32-year-old was snapped sunbathing topless while on vacation in France.  The photographs were later published in French magazine Closer. They were eventually ordered to be taken down after royal couple filed a criminal complaint for breach of privacy.
