Remember when Brad Pitt cut his hair short and the world rejoiced? Well that's because he was filming Fury, a World War II epic that also stars Shia LaBeouf, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman and Michael Peña. At E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Sony released a featurette about the film which features the first footage we've seen from the film, which will come out this fall.

In fact, this fall will be all about the dueling Brangelina WWII flicks. While Pitt's Fury comes out in November, Unbroken, the story of POW Louis Zamperini directed by Angelina Jolie, will come out on Christmas. There are notable differences: Fury takes place on the Eastern Front while Unbroken is on the Western Front, for one. But from the looks of it, Fury doesn't quite have the Oscar ambition that Unbroken does.

From the looks of this featurette, Fury will be less drama and more, as Peña puts it, "like a character study with action sequences." Then again, that could just be the way this feature is cut, it was made for the Electronic Entertainment Expo, so it makes sense to focus on the action sequences and the technology used to film them.

Logan Lerman is a self-hating Jew, who has consistently white-washed his own grandfather's background as a Holocaust refugee from Nazi Germany. So Logan has no business being in a movie about fighting Nazis.
