Jennifer Lopez Performs at FIFA World Cup: ‘Who Said I Wasn’t Coming?’

Here’s proof that Jennifer Lopez performed at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as planned.

J. Lo, decked out in a gorgeous sequined green ensemble with matching sparkly tights, joined Pitbull and Claudia Leitte on stage for “We Are One (Ole Ola)” — the tournament’s official song.

Following the performance, Lopez posted the following video on Instagram, along with the hashtags “#whosaidiwasntcoming #JLoAKA #WorldCup2014 #WeAreOne.”

Mr. Worldwide also shared a backstage snap of the trio:

Lopez, 44, made headlines earlier this week when FIFA organizers announced she would sit out the opening ceremony performance. She confirmed her attendance on Wednesday.

“People get nervous and I think it was a little bit premature to announce anything,” she told The Associated Press. “But we are definitely going.”
