Robin Thicke is Naming His New Album After Paula Patton
Musician Robin Thicke is reportedly naming his upcoming album, Paula, after his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton.
The "Blurred Lines" singer and 2 Guns star separated in February after nine years of marriage. Thicke had been accused of infidelity in the past, but some reports said the whole Miley Cyrus twerking fiasco at last year's MTV VMAs caused the marriage to crumble. Paula was said to have felt "utterly disrespected" by Robin and Miley's onstage antics.
A source told Us Weekly Thicke "wanted to save their marriage, but it was Paula's choice and she ended it. Robin does not want this divorce."
In fact, the R&B crooner made several public attempts to win his wife's affections back, including dedicating a song to her at a concert in Virginia following the split. So, it comes as no real surprise that the "Give it 2U" singer would name his album after his high school sweetheart. The album, which includes the track "Get Her Back," will be released July 1st.
Patton is rumored to be reprising her role as IMF agent Jane Carter in Mission: Impossible 5.
