Brad Pitt Might Be George Clooney's Best Man
Talk about an A-list affair!
Brad Pitt might serve as best man at George Clooney's upcoming wedding to British lawyer Amal Alamuddin. According to George's Aunt Staria, that is.
Staria, who is married to George's uncle Joe Clooney told the Daily Mail that she thinks her nephew will choose his Ocean's Eleven co-star to do the best man honors. "They are good friends, I would think that’s who he’d choose."
Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, are reportedly tying the knot in September, nearly a year to the day the two met.
"I do know that Nick and Nina [George's parents] are planning a trip over to Italy in the next week or so to, I guess, scope out some stuff," Aunt Staria revealed to the UK publication.
Apparently, the Oscar winner's family was looking forward to meeting George's fiancée last weekend at a family get together, but work commitments prevented the Beirut-born barrister from joining the party. Clooney's cousin Ben Breslin told Daily Mail, "When he came in the front door, I was looking around asking 'Where is she?'
‘He explained she’s a lawyer and apparently she’s across the sea somewhere working on a case, off saving the world. It was a shame because I would have liked to have met her. Nina say she’s a lovely girl and if she likes her, she’s in."
Do you think George will choose Brad as his best man? What about his good friend and business partner Rande Gerber?
