Neville Longbottom Wants You to Know He's Still a Nerd
Matthew Lewis Looks Really Hot While Talking About 'Star Wars'
Whoever says nerds aren't hot has clearly never met Matthew Lewis, the once chubby-faced Harry Potter star who got, well, ridiculously good-looking after going through that awkward puberty phase.
Though the British actor has become somewhat of a heartthrob in the recent years, Lewis, who played geeky Neville Longbottom in the famous film franchise, insists that he's still a big 'ol nerd on the inside.
"I am a massive geek in terms of TV that I watch," the 25-year-old tells Jon magazine. "Growing up, I was a massive Star Wars fan. That was my ultimate thing; I just wanted to be a Jedi, completely. And that flowed into Star Trek and all that kind of stuff."
"And I'm a bit of a, well I don't know if I can say I'm a closet fan, because most of my friends know, I'm a musical fan, I just love musicals," he adds. "We went to see Mamma Mia at the cinema, and it was just full of women, and just me and my mate Nick, with hoods up, down at the front watching. And by the time it got to the end, you know where Meryl Streep comes out and asks do you want one more, and we were like, hoods off, 'Yeah we do!'"
Shh. You hear that? That's the sound of girls everywhere frantically writing down their phone numbers.
