The New 'Interstellar' Trailer Will Hit You Right in the Feels

Just three months since the world first laid eyes on the full trailer for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, a more in-depth look at the auteur's latest project has been released to the public. Yes, this means we actually get to see more footage and even feel more feels.

Set in the near future when Earth is decaying and "civilization is just sustaining," Interstellar centers around a widowed engineer (Matthew McConaughey) who leaves his children behind to embark on an indefinite space mission in order to find another place in the universe that could sustain human life.

Though the freshly-released trailer doesn't really explain how time travel will play a part in the flick (or if Jessica Chastain is really playing McConaughey's daughter), the freshly-released two-and-a-half-minute clip touches base on the emotional aspect of the sci-fi film that was absent from the initial teaser. There are lots of tears from McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, as well as a moving reading of Dylan Thomas' "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" by Michael Caine.

In all, remember to bring tissues to the theater come Nov. 7.
