Leave it to Beyoncé to release a kind-of-sort-of statement regarding the infamous elevator incident in song and without any warning whatsoever.

Teaming up with Nicki Minaj on a newly released remix to the already amazing "Flawless," Queen Bey dropped the new music on her website late Saturday. It's the first time Nicki has collaborated with Beyoncé and the results are pretty spectacular.

A lot of the new lyrics have led other outlets into speculation mode, as it appears to be Beyoncé's long awaited acknowledgement of the scuffle between her husband, Jay-Z, and sister, Solange Knowles.

It's hard to ignore statments like, "We escalate, up in this bitch like elevators ... of course sometime s**t goes down when it's a billion dollars on the elevator."

Nicki's new rap, however, replaces the spoken word stylings of Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, which spoke to the empowerment of women in society. You can listen to Nicki's verse independent from Bey's lyrics in the video below.

What do you think? Has Beyoncé set the record straight?
