Here’s What Megan Fox Thinks of Shia LaBeouf’s Arrest
In a recent interview with New York Daily News, Fox gave her two cents on
her one-time hook-up former co-star’s recent troubles, in which LaBeouf was arrested by New York City police after he was ejected from performance of Cabaret on Broadway.
“I’m not worried about Shia,” she said. “I love my Shia. He’s perfectly fine.”
“I haven’t talked to him in a couple of years, but I don’t worry about him. He’s a brilliant kid, talented and funny,” Fox continued. “There’s no reason to worry.”
LaBeouf, who admitted to struggling with an “alcohol addiction” after his arrest, was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and harassment. He soon started “voluntarily receiving treatment” with his drinking problem.
“There have been so many salacious, ridiculous stories about me in the past. They were all asinine,” Fox said of living under the spotlight. “If you have an insecurity issue or if you seek validation through the opinions of others, this industry is not for you. It will tear you to pieces, and you will not survive.”
