Chris Pratt's High School Photos Are Adorable, Too
Before he was a superhero, and even before he spent his days rapping in Hawaii, Chris Pratt was just your average, slightly goofy teenager growing up in the Pacific Northwest.
Pratt, who is currently
everywhere starring in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, grew up in Lake Stevens, Washington where he was a standout wrestler and, unsurprisingly, the "class clown."
The 35-year-old Parks and Recreation actor recently told Esquire magazine that he "didn't picture" himself getting the role of Peter Quill (a.k.a Star-Lord) in Galaxy, because of his audition for 2009 G.I. Joe film.
"I went in there, and halfway through I saw the director’s eyes just glaze over. It made sense — I was a little heavy and out of shape. I was not gonna play someone from G.I. Joe. I did not look like a G.I. Joe action figure come to life," Pratt admitted.
After shedding a reported 60 pounds and getting absolutely ripped, here's what the Zero Dark Thirty actor now looks like shirtless.

Guardians of the Galaxy is in theaters now.
