Ariana Grande is "99.9 percent positive" that one of her ex-boyfriends some guy she knows actually cheated on her with another dude.

Speaking with U.K's Metro, the "Problem" songstress says the experience served as inspiration for one of the songs on her new album, My Everything. Aptly sampling Diana Ross' "I'm Coming Out," the track "Break Your Heart Right Back" details "a boy who cheats on a girl with another boy."

"It's one of my favorites on the album and it's really funny because I believe it has happened to me. I'm not 100 percent positive, but I'm 99.9 percent positive," she explains, adding, "I would rather he cheats on me with a guy than with a girl any day! If I found out my boyfriend was gay, I would be like 'OK!' I'd be so relieved."

Since the article's publication Grande has taken to Twitter to clear the air about her comment, writing:

Previously, Grande herself was accused of being unfaithful when she started dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes in late 2013. Jai Brooks, a YouTube star, claimed the 21-year-old Nickelodeon star had cheated on him with Sykes while the two were were collaborating on their "Almost Is Never Enough" duet.

"Yes I was cheated on. Yes it does suck. Yes I was left for another man," he wrote in a lengthy Twitter rant. "And this happens everyday to so many people of every age, gender, race. I happen to be one of those people and I'm in a situation where I am constantly reminded of it every day."

Brooks and Grande eventually got back together in May earlier this year before splitting again three months later.

Oh, young love! It's so gosh darn complicated.
