2014 EMMYS HOST
Seth Meyers will host the 2014 Emmy Awards.
It’s usually the hottest day of the summer and the plaza just outside Nokia Theater L.A. Live is always made that much hotter by the men and women attending the annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

This year was no different and our favorites from Orange Is the New BlackScandal, reality television and much more all showed up yesterday dressed to the nines.

From Heidi Klum in blue fringe to Laverne Cox in that body hugging navy number, most of the nominees on the carpet kept things as formal as you’d expect for what essentially amounts to the precursor for TV’s biggest night. Others though, like Kate Mara and Judy Greer, kept things a bit more comfortable in knee length ensembles that were anything but short on the glamour.

Big winners from the night included first time Emmy-winner Uzo Aduba, for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, Jane Lynch for her hosting duties on Hollywood Game Night and Allison Janney for her dramatic turn on Masters of Sex.

In terms of which networks came out on top, HBO led the evening with 15 total wins for series like Game of Thrones, Vice and True Detective, with NBC following in second with 10 total wins.

Scroll through the gallery above and check out all your TV favorites, including a few very dapper gentlemen that include Ian Somerhalder and Dominic Monaghan.
