Wow. Life truly is unfair.

While Americans are barely making ends meet with the low minimum wage, Backdoor Teen Mom actress Farrah Abraham — you know, the one who claims to be totally out of the adult industry but has recently taken a “research gig” at a local strip club — is now earning half a million dollars all for a twirl around the pole.

According to Radar Online, the former MTV reality star and future Christian parenting book author says she has inked a $544,000 deal with Palazio Gentlemen’s Club in Austin, Texas to dance as a stripper for their Celebrity House Feature. Kicking off Aug. 22, the show will have customers fork over $2,500 for an hour or $500 for 10 minutes in order to see Abraham’s backdoor again.

“It benefits everybody,” BeBe Montgomery, the manager of Palazio, told the publication. “It’s really fun … I hired Farrah as a waitress about a month ago and then we talked about it. She decided to switch to dancing. And then we talked again and came to an agreement for six figures. We’re really happy and excited.”

Previously, Abraham insisted that she was working at the strip joint as a way to “get the information” to help her write her erotica novels, which are rumored to be roughly based on her life as a porn star someone who allegedly had their sex tape “leaked” to Vivid Entertainment for cash.

“I’m doing research,” she told E! News at the time. “A friend of mine works there and I’m researching. I’ve been trying out all the roles that make up a gentleman’s club, including cocktailing and dancing. There’s management and there’s cooking too. It’s job shadowing that I hope pays off.”

She explained, “In the same wayJennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that’s what I’m doing. It’s how I get the information to write my books and do my movies. Unfortunately, I’m not free to talk about what those future projects may be. But I’m interested in hearing all the women’s stories. And while I’m doing it, I’m getting paid. I’m getting paid to play a role and get informed.”

Welp. She’s getting paid, alright.
