‘Men, Women & Children’ Trailer: Ansel Elgort is Sad and Doesn’t Know What To Text
Here is your first look at Men, Women & Children, a star-studded film that examines the ways we communicate and how we affect each other.
The teaser trailer, unveiled by one of the film’s stars Ansel Elgort on Good Morning America on Tuesday, highlights text messages and relationships spread over generations.
There’s Adam Sandler’s character looking for an escort while his wife (Rosemarie DeWitt) looks for a fling online. Jennifer Garner’s character looks at her phone, a lot. There are a bunch of high school kids too, including dear Ansel, who sheds a lone tear at the end of the preview.
Men, Women & Children, based on Chad Kultgen’s novel of the same name, is directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air). The film also stars Emma Thompson, Judy Greer and Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris and will make its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.
