They don’t call her the Queen for nothing.

Sunday night was basically Beyoncé’s night as the 32-year-old entertainer performed nearly all the tracks from her self-titled album without missing a beat.

At times, it was possible to forget that we were watching the MTV Video Music Awards in our sweaty living rooms because the whole thing felt like a Beyoncé concert (condensed, of course).

No song was delivered in its full length. But that didn’t matter: we were all treated to not one but several audience shots of dear Blue Ivy sitting with her father Jay Z.

Blue later returned in big screen form when Beyoncé performed — you guessed it — “Blue.” (See? Just like the concert).

Of course the moment everyone will be talking about tomorrow morning is Beyoncé accepting the Video Vanguard award from her daughter and Jay Z, who called his wife “the greatest living entertainer.” From Blue Ivy's shout out to her mommy and the first couple of music's onstage smooch, things got pretty emotional for Bey.

“I have nothing to say. I am filled with gratitude. I just thank god for this moment,” she said in her acceptance speech. “I love you all so much. Baby Blue I love you. My beloved I love you. My fans I love you. MTV I love you. Goodnight.”

We love you too, Beyonce. Watch her medley performance, above, and the award presentation, below.
