Here’s Why Blue Ivy was the Only Person Who Mattered at the VMAs

Nicki Minaj’s wardrobe “malfunction” and Miley Cyrus’ surprising Video of the Year acceptance speech were both big moments at the 2014 MTV VMAs, but let’s be honest: only one (very small) person mattered throughout the whole evening…

Blue Ivy.

Not only did the tiny tot outshine Taylor Swift with her adorable dance moves, she even managed to steal the spotlight from her mom during her Vanguard performance and acceptance speech—just by being so darn cute and somehow so darn COOL!

So if you’ve never had the desire to be friends with a 2-year-old, you’re about to experience a first… Here are Blue’s 8 best moments from her big night at the VMAs that will literally have you feeling so much happiness and yet so much envy (Will our babies ever be that cool? Why wasn’t I Bey-Z’s daughter?) all at the same time:

She began doing the dance to ***Flawless and didn’t care who was watching.

And she even stole the spotlight from a pregnant Kelly Rowland and her awkward head bobs.

She already knows people will be bowing down to her.

And she really did wake up like this—Stop hating on her naturally beautiful hair, people!

She was seriously so proud of her amazing mom…

But wasn’t about to get any lip gloss on her perfect, makeup-free face.

And even though her mom was giving her Vanguard acceptance speech and the crowd erupted in a chant of “Beyonce,” Blue Ivy was caught waving to fans as though it were all in honor of her.

But in the end, Blue loves her mom, and the cuteness that ensued between the little family of three was to die for.
