Miley Cyrus: I Still “Love” Liam Hemsworth

Singer thought 'she'd die' without him.
There’s no bad blood between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Well, at least according to the songstress herself anyway.

Speaking with Australia’s Sunday Night, the “We Can’t Stop” crooner says she still cares about her fiance despite breaking their engagement almost a year ago after dating on-and-off for four years.

“I love Liam,” Cyrus says, explaining that Bangerz isn’t really about their breakup. “Liam loves me.”

“[The album] is about finding yourself, and sometimes you have to separate yourself from everyone. I just had to become this person who is sitting in this chair right now,” she continues. “If I didn’t, I just felt like there was something that was going to explode and I had to set myself free.”

Previously, Cyrus, 21, attributed her breakup with Hemsworth, 24, to the couple moving way too fast for their young age.

“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year,” the singer said on Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013. “I don’t ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can’t be yourself.”

“I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged,” she added. “It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years. But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I’m just at my house, by myself.”
