It’s undisputed  that 2014’s summer season was all about that bass. From Nicki Minaj’s twerktastic “Anaconda” to Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea’s “Booty” music video, no butt was left unpopped as pop stars everywhere proudly shook what their mama gave them.

Seeing how fall is now in full swing, Celebuzz — along with self-proclaimed butt man Lil Jon — decided to reflect on what critics now dub The Summer of Ass.

“Butts are just becoming cool now,” the rapper said in the press room at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. “White guys like ass now when white guys didn’t used to like ass.”

“I mean, that’s what it is. White guys did not used to like ass 15 years ago. They liked little skinny white girls and big boobs,” he explained. “Now, they like the ass and the titties. The total package.”

However, Lil Jon, the guy that got everybody and Bill Murray grinding the very infectious “Turn Down for What,” also said that someone’s musical worth shouldn’t be determined by how much junk in the trunk they’re packing.

“Please don’t ask me about her butt,” Lil Jon retorted when another reporter mention Azalea’s name and her presence in the rap game. “Anybody should be able to rap. It’s 2014.”
