Here’s Your First Look at Amal Alamuddin’s Wedding Dress (George Clooney’s There, Too)

The Clooneys in Italy
George and Amal step out the morning after their wedding.
And the bride wore Oscar de la Renta.

PEOPLE magazine has nabbed the first photo of newlyweds George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin.

According to the publication, the bride’s gorgeous gown was hand-embroidered with pearls and diamante stones (which could explain why you’re rubbing your eyes at the moment).

Though out of frame, the rest of the gown leads to a complete train. Alamuddin also wore a cathedral-length lace-edged veil.

“He’s such an elegant designer and such an elegant man,” Mrs. George Clooney tells the magazine of the famed designer.

For the curious, the groom said “I Do” in a classic Armani tux.

“We met in Italy,” Clooney tells PEOPLE. “We have a home there. We knew that was where we wanted to get married.”

And because another magazine cover — and another look at the gorgeous couple — is never a bad thing, Hello! also scored an exclusive photo of Mr. and Mrs. Clooney on their big day:

“My verdict on being Mr and Mrs Clooney? It feels pretty damn great,”Clooney tells Hello!

Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, said “I Do” in front of their nearest and dearest on Sept. 27 at the seven-star Aman Canal Grande Hotel. The couple made their nuptials official under Italian law on Monday in a civil ceremony.
