FKA Twigs has no time for haters.

Speaking to The Wild magazine, the singer — born Tahliah Barnett — maintains that she is at a place in her life where she feels comfortable with cutting out all the negative people in her life. (Hopefully, new boyfriend Robert Pattinson isn’t one of them.)

“The more music that I put out and the more material that I do, the more I’m completely certain of who I am and the type of person I want to be and what I have to give.” she says. “I can’t be shaken anymore, by anyone. I’ve got to that point in my life that if you’re not a good person, and you can’t make me feel good with love and life, then fuck off, basically.”

FKA Twigs, who released her Mercury Prize-nominated record LP1 in August, also says making music is a lot like being in a relationship “with a lover.”

“Sometimes when you really truly give yourself to somebody, it can completely backfire and you just end up feeling really insecure, really paranoid, jealous, and ugly. It’s from loving someone,” she says. “If that person isn’t right for you, all those positive emotions that you are trying to put on someone can end up negatively projected back onto yourself. Then you hate yourself for it.”

She continues, “You’re searching for something to make you feel good and to be a better person, but you realize how far away you are from being your best self.”

Previously, FKA Twigs was bombarded with racists tweets from terrible human beings so-called Pattinson fans who disapprove of their relationship. The British performer, who is half-Jamaican and half-Spanish, pushed back, writing on her Twitter:

Despite the backlash, FKA Twigs, 26, and Pattinson, 28, have been going strong, Recently, the two were spotted holding hands while strolling around in Venice Beach before heading to Hollywood for a romantic date night at a local bar.
