Nicki Minaj Talks Settling Down and Starting a Family: Find Out How Beyoncé Influenced Her

You may not believe it right now, but Nicki Minaj has put a time limit on her career in order to one day be able to settle down with the right man and become a full-time mother.

The rapper opened up for the October issue of L’Uomo Vogue about her dreams and aspirations not only career wise but in terms of her personal life, too–a big part of which is starting a family.

“I gave myself a time limit to reach my professional goals,” a time limit, which she explains is four years to earn $500 Million.  “I don’t want to work my whole life without ever experiencing the joys of a family.”

In fact, her recent trip to Paris to perform beside Beyoncé really confirmed that dream for her.

“Seeing Beyoncé with her daughter and husband was so tender,” she says.  “And it showed me that it is possible to be an animal on stage and a caring mother at the same time.”

Family has always been a key aspect of Minaj’s life.  Her mother was the person who pushed her toward the world of performance and guided and supported her throughout her entire endeavor.

“Family has always been important to me, and that is why I want to wait until the right moment before starting my own.  Right now I am too busy, but at a certain point the situation will change,” she explains.

It’s a weird concept thinking of her moving on from her rapping career, but all the power to her!  I just wonder which man she’ll make The One (cough cough Drake cough)?!
