Watch: Alfonso Ribeiro Did the Carlton on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Last Night

'Fresh Prince' Reunion
Will, Carlton and yes, the Carlton dance.
Carlton Banks came back to the boob tube last night, thanks to a little dance and a little show called Dancing With the Stars.

Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for six seasons in the early ‘90s, did what we all expected him to do as a competitor on the ABC show: he did the Carlton.

It’s a little sad when you think about it: Ribeiro has not been able to shake off the Carlton brand ever since setting foot in the Banks mansion. But instead of feeling sorry for himself, the 43-year-old actor is embracing the association these days.

“As time goes along you’re able to really take an outside look at it and kind of go, that was good, that was fun,” he says in the rehearsal interview.

Watch Ribeiro and his professional dance partner Witney Carson do the Carlton, above.

(If you don’t have time to watch the whole post-dance feedback from Julianne Hough and company, just know that the Carlton received the evening’s only perfect score).
