Best Divorce Ever? Kris Jenner Says Family is ‘Really Close’ After Split, Wants to ‘Set a Really Good Example’

For a family that’s often embroiled in drama, Kris and Bruce Jenner’s divorce appears to be smooth sailing.

In fact, according to Kris’ comments at a charity event last night, this may go down as one of the most amicable divorces in celebrity history. How do they do it?

“I think we have a really close family period,” Kris explained to E! News. Indeed, when it comes to the Kardashians and Jenners, family always comes first.

…We have so great memories over 25 years. We have a lot of stuff going on with our family and the holidays are coming and it’s tradition. We have two kids together and we want to set a really good example for our family.

Very klassy, Kris! The momager then continued with her philosophy on divorce:

At one point in my life I saw somebody else go through a divorce and they handled it with such grace and such love and I thought, ‘If I’m ever in that situation, I want to be able to do the same thing for my children.’ I think it’s the best thing you can give your kids. If you’re not going to be able to stay together, then at least make it really comfortable for the whole family so that they know there’s a lot of love there. That’s what I believe.

Earlier this month, Kris described her and Bruce’s relationship as “an amazing friendship.” “When I realized it wasn’t [my happily ever after], then you want the next best thing,” she explained.

Bruce, on the other hand, has not been as vocal about the recent divorce. However, if his glorious post-split hairstyle is any indication, then we imagine Bruceski is in a good place as well.
