Nick Cannon gives out relationship advice.
Despite Mariah Carey’s recent vocal issues, her ex, Nick Cannon, isn’t all that worried about the elusive chanteuse.

“I just wish her nothing but the best. We’re in contact constantly. You know you might have an off night here and there, but she’s one of the greatest performers and entertainers of our time — she’s not worried, we’re not worried, we’re just going to keep pushing,” he tells Extra. He also says that twins Monroe and Moroccan are currently “on the road with mommy, having a good time.”

“I’m just taking everything one day at a time, and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day,” he says when asked about how he’s handling the couple’s separation after six years of marriage, adding that his giant tattoo of Carey’s name is in the process of being covered up.

“It’s not finished yet,” Cannon explains. “It hurt a lot and I’m still not finished. There’s still probably six more sessions left.”

In an interview with HuffPo Live that occurred on the same day, the America’s Got Talent host says he’ll never let his private issues affect his work.

“I’m a very outspoken person,” Cannon, who was the first to admit he was having problems in his marriage, says. “Even in tough times, when you’re dealing with personal issues, you just hold court.”

He continues, “Honestly, when you’re dealing with things in your personal life, usually business is the thing that — at least for me — keeps you going.”
