“I’m a seven,” Gomez says, when Ellen DeGeneres asks how she’s doing on a scale of one to 10.
“I feel like I have been doing this for so long that people tend to forget that. They’re all like ‘Be yourself, be yourself,’ and I’m still trying to figure out who that is,” according to the “Hold On” singer.
“I know I’m not perfect but I know I have a lot of people that support me and love me. I don’t know . . . I don’t want to let anyone down so I try to be the best I can be. It’s awkward, being 20. In our 20s.”
Gomez also talks about living at her own place (“I can walk around naked now”) and whether or not she’ll follow BFF Taylor Swift’s footsteps and move to New York City.
“It’s been a really good place for her. We’ve been friends for seven years. She really feels like she kind of stepped into her own and became a woman there and she’s like, alright your turn. I feel like I might, eventually, but not right now.”
