Christina Aguilera Coming Back to ‘The Voice’

Move over Xtina, Gwen is coming for your rotating chair.
The Voice fans rejoice!! One of your all-time favorite judges is making her way back to that big red throne!

That’s right, Christina Aguilera is returning to the reality show for season eight, alongside Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell.

“We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can’t wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition,” Paul Telegdy of NBC Entertainment said in a statement. “These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians and as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high.”

Aguilera took the season off after giving birth to her second child, daughter Summer Rain Rutler, in August, and  Gwen Stefani replaced her while she tended to her baby girl.  Although the No Doubt songstress won’t be part of season eight, we’ll likely see both her and Shakira–who has also judged in the past along with Usher and CeeLo Green–in upcoming seasons.

Over the last seven seasons, Levine’s team has seen two victories, Shelton’s three and Usher once… So we’re hoping to see Christina’s team ring in as champion next season!
