Stone, who will make her Broadway debut in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of the classic Kander and Ebb musical, is set to take the stage on Nov. 11. Her predecessor, Williams, will step down on Nov. 9 after joining the production since April.

Actor Alan Cumming, who won a Tony while starring in the same production in 1998, will continue his part through March 29.

While recently appearing on The Tonight Show, Stone opened up about her history with Cabaret, telling host Jimmy Fallon that she saw her co-star act in the musical when she was just a child.

I saw it in New York for the first time with Alan as the Emcee when I was nine years old, which is the most inappropriate show to take a nine-year-old to,” she said. “Do not bring a child!”

Duly noted.
