Here’s Your First Look at Chris Soules as the New ‘Bachelor’

It looks like ABC is trying to make a big Bachelor comeback after it’s rocky season with Juan Pablo Galavis… By promoting the “all-American” Chris Soules who is up next to find love on the reality series.

The blonde-haired, blue-eyed sweetheart of a farmer captured hearts on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette and seemed like an obvious choice for the network after dealing with the difficulties from the outspoken Juan Pablo.

In the first ad for the show, viewers can already tell ABC is headed a much different route for this season of The Bachelor.  The poster itself reads: “Traditional.  Classic.  All-American.”

Of course, Juan Pablo was anything but that–being a single father from Venezuela who had a hard time speaking and understanding English–and it’s clear the network was trying to steer clear of that this season, perhaps in a move to win back some viewers after controversies surrounding the previous season.

Meanwhile, news broke on Monday that Juan Pablo and Bachelor winner Nikki Ferrell finally split up after a very difficult road together.  Sources say Nikki broke things off.

Hopefully Soules will have some better luck!
